When it comes to both shape and size, children and adults have very different heads, so Woom has adapted the Woom KIDSs helmet to suit the specific needs of children. Adapted specifically to suit the needs of children, the KIDS Helmet ensures safety, comfort, and an easy time getting it on and off, thanks to the pinch-free clasp.

The Woom KIDS Bike Helmet has extended protection for the forehead, temples, and back of the head, an easy-to-use magnetic closure system, optimal ventilation, and a perfect fit thanks to interchangeable pads and a size-adjustment dial. The flexible visor ‒ a unique safety feature ‒ provides additional protection for the front of the head.

• This helmet comes in 3 sizes (XS, S, M) and fits a wide range of children, from babies to adolescents.
  
• Visor Bumper: The innovative visor was specially developed not only to protect from rain and sun, but also prevent facial injuries. Composed of non-toxic elastomer, the honeycomb structure maximizes cushioning in the event of a fall.
• Pinch-Free Clasp: The Fidlock® magnetic closure system is easy for children to use, even with one hand or when wearing gloves, and ensures zero pinching of skin or hair.
• Reflective Logo: The Woom logo on the helmet is made from a special reflective adhesive film to increase visibility and safety in the dark and in low light conditions.
• Size Adjustment System: The internal size adjustment system offers additional fine adjustment of the helmet to the head circumference – for improved comfort and safety. The large, handy turning dial at the back is easy to use, even for a child. Perfect for 'dialing in' the perfect fit.
• Padding: Helmet is delivered with two sets of pads in different thicknesses (3 and 6 mm). Use them individually or combine them for an optimal and comfortable fit on the head. The pads are made of soft and absorbent material with no rough edges. The pads can be removed easily for washing.
• Round Straps: Thanks to their round shape and perfect length, the helmet straps always lie in exactly the right position and can't get twisted. Ideal for maximum comfort.
• Safety: Size XS and S helmets comply with U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for Persons Age 1 and Older (Extended Head Coverage). Size M helmets comply with U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for Persons Age 5 and Older.

SIZE GUIDE

To determine the best size helmet for your child, you will need to measure the circumference of their head. A measuring tape is ideal for this (or a string works). Start in the middle of the forehead, and wrap the tape around the widest part of your child's head back to the starting point. Match your measured circumference to the proper size below:

• X-Small: 46-50 cm | 18.2-19.6 in | Age Recommendation 1-4
• Small: 50-53 cm | 19.7-20.8 in | Age Recommendation 3-5
• Medium: 53-56 cm | 20.9-22 in | Age Recommendation 5-8

Age recommendations are guidelines only. For best fit please measure your child's head. If between sizes, we recommend going with the larger of the two options.

Note: The Woom KIDS Bike Helmet is delivered with two sets of pads in different thicknesses (3 and 6 mm). When you receive this helmet, the 6mm pads will be installed. Use them individually or combine them for an optimal and comfortable fit on the head.

SPECIFICATIONS

* Rotational protection helps reduce forces from angled impacts by allowing slight movement between the helmet and head. While not essential, it offers added safety at minimal cost. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is the most widely recognized technology, but many brands offer their own versions. Independent of rotational protection, all helmets sold by Ready Set Pedal meet CPSC's stringent safety standards.

WARRANTY

Most Ready Set Pedal brands offer a manufacturer's warranty. In the unlikely event you experience an issue/defect, please contact us. We'll work directly with the brand to process your warranty claim, simplifying your life and resolving your issue as quickly as possible!

Woom offers a standard 2-year warranty that applies automatically from the day you buy a new Woom bike from Ready Set Pedal. You need to provide the purchase receipt to make a claim under the warranty. Make sure you keep it somewhere safe.

Members of the Woom Riders Club can extend the standard 2-year warranty on aluminum frames, rigid forks, handlebars, stems and cranks to 10 years for free. Log into (or sign-up for) the Woom Riders Club here and register your Woom bike here within 9 weeks of buying it.

The 2-year and 10-year warranties can be transferred to you when you buy a used bike. The warranty period still applies from the date on which the bike was purchased as new.

Woom Helmets and other accessories carry a standard 1-year waranty against manufacturing defects.
