Why We Love the Diamondback Sync'r 24 MTB
So your lil' ripper wants an aggressive and capable mountain bike to hit the trails with Mom and Dad? There are lots of choices out there that can break the bank. You can easily spend well over a $1000 for an aggressive hardtail mountain bike, and knowing they are going to outgrow the bike in 2 years makes it a tough pill swallow.
We love the Diamondback Sync'r 24 MTB because it has all the features and capabilities of $1000+ hardtail kids mountain bikes, but without the massive price tag.
The 24-inch wheels and low-slung geometry provide just the right fit and handling for the smaller rider, and the 6061 aluminum alloy construction can take plenty of abuse. With big-bike components like a SRAM SX Eagle 1×12 drivetrain, 80mm Suntour fork, and Shimano hydraulic brakes, this bike gives young riders all they need to get to that next level.
This model fits riders 53”-62” tall, aged approximately 8-12 years old.
Check out our comparison to the much higher priced Riprock and Woom Off Air. The Diamondback has wider tires for more stability, more gears for easier climbing, hydraulic disk brakes and top shelf components from SRAM, Truvativ and a bombproof Suntour 80mm Travel fork.
