Introducing the Frog 53 Hybrid Bike (20" 8-Speed), a versatile 20-inch hybrid bicycle designed specifically for children aged 5 to 7 years old. This top-of-the-line hybrid bike features a lightweight and durable aluminum frame, weighing only 18.0 lbs. Its maneuverability on various surfaces like roads, sidewalks, trails, and forest paths is unmatched. With Kenda Small Block Eight tires, the bike offers exceptional stability and grip. It comes complete with full-length mudguards and the option to attach a pannier rack, perfect for carrying school books and sports equipment.

The Frog 53 Kids' Bike is equipped with components tailored to your child's age. It has replaced the older Frog 52 and Frog 55 models. It includes a quick-release child-specific saddle for optimal riding comfort and FrogFit Technology® youth-specific 8-speed gear shifters. With their short lever travel and smooth cabling, changing gears and conquering hilly terrains becomes a breeze. The bike also features Tektro brakes with small, easily reachable brake levers, providing better control and boosting young riders' confidence. Additionally, our patented Frog cranks ensure effortless pedaling, reducing the distance between the pedals and enhancing efficiency and comfort for children.

Designed for longevity, the Frog 53 is optimized to grow with your child. Its lower bracket position guarantees a safer and more ergonomic riding experience, accommodating a wider range of leg lengths to suit growing kids. Furthermore, the handlebar height can be adjusted within a 40mm range as your child continues to grow, ensuring a perfect fit at all stages.

* MINIMUM INSEAM measurement for a child who is large enough to ride this bike. Beginner (or timid) riders must reach the ground comfortably and flat footed while straddling the seat, meaning their inseam must be close to the minimum seat height. FITTING YOUR RIDER

Getting your kid on the right size bike is important and easy! All you need is:

  • RIDER INSEAM =  Your child's inseam, measured from the top of the crotch directly to the ground. (This is NOT a pant leg inseam measurement).
  • RIDER EXPERIENCE = Your child's ability, comfort and confidence levels while riding a bike.

With these two pieces of information, you can easily calculate the MINIMUM SEAT HEIGHT your child needs on their new bike.

You have 30 days from receiving your order to initiate your return with us:

  • Returns must be in NEW condition with original packaging and product tags.
  • You are responsible for packaging and return shipping. You may purchase a return shipping label from us, which is likely your least expensive option with our discounted rates.
  • Please take your new bike for a "test ride" to make sure it's right for your Rider! Our standard for still being in new condition after a "test ride" is similar to a local bike shop that offers test rides outside their shop. We understand some "dust on the tires," but please keep it new (and hold on to packaging) until you are sure you're keeping it!
  • Your original shipping cost is non-refundable.

WARRANTY

Ready Set Pedal stands behind all products we sell. Most of our brands (including all bikes) offer a limited warranty. We will work directly with the manufacturer (on your behalf) to evaluate and process your warranty claim. If the issue/defect is deemed eligible to be covered under warranty, we work to get you a replacement, repair or refund as quickly as possible. If you're experiencing an issue/defect with an order, please contact us for support.

Frog offers a standard 2 year warranty on all frames, forks, parts and paintwork (excluding tires & inner tubes). Register here for Frog's FREE extended Warranty Plus, which offers a 10 year warranty on frames, handlebars, stems, seat posts, cranks and forks (excluding suspension forks). You must complete and submit the Warranty Plus application form within 28 days of purchase.

Suspension forks come with a standard warranty of 2 years and are not included in the Warranty Plus offer.
