The Frog 44 First Pedal Bike is the first of Frog's new and improved frame range. It is the perfect bike for 4 to 6 year old, designed to fit a minimum inseam of 16.5" (for a child already experienced on a balance or pedal bike).

Frog has reduced the weight of this model. It is now feathery light at only 14.1 lbs.! Along with the weight reduction, Frog has lowered the bottom bracket to help kids achieve a more ergonomic position on the bike.

This amazing all-aluminum bike has a very lightweight, high quality frame and fork. A longer wheelbase and low center of gravity make balancing easy, making this a great bike for kids to learn to pedal. The Frog 44 inspires confidence, which means your tike will want to get out and ride more. Once they're rolling, your little ripper will be leaving you in the dust!

• Rear Freewheel Installed (No Coaster Backpedal Brake): A 16" rear coaster brake wheel is available at no additional cost upon request.
• 440mm Width Riser Handlebar: To ensure a comfortable reach for your child.
• Safety Steering Lock: Preventing oversteering that can cause an accident. Safer for learners, but still super nimble for more aggressive riders!
• Kenda "Knobby" Off-Road Tires: A versatile tire that work great on dirt, grass, gravel, roads, or bike paths!
• Easily Installed Mudguards: Useful if you ride regularly where the mud is flying.
• High Quality Chain Guide Preinstalled: Includes an optional full chain guard to be installed if you prefer.

FROG 44 SIZING

* MINIMUM INSEAM measurement for a child who is large enough to ride this bike. Beginner (or timid) riders must reach the ground comfortably and flat footed while straddling the seat, meaning their inseam must be close to the minimum seat height. Experienced (or confident) riders will be more comfortable raising their heels off the ground when straddling the seat. See Kids Bike Sizing Guide.
† STANDOVER HEIGHT is measured from the top of the top tube to the ground, passing directly by the front of the chainring.

FITTING YOUR RIDER

Getting your kid on the right size bike is important and easy! All you need is:

• RIDER INSEAM =  Your child's inseam, measured from the top of the crotch directly to the ground. (This is NOT a pant leg inseam measurement).
• RIDER EXPERIENCE = Your child's ability, comfort and confidence levels while riding a bike.

With these two pieces of information, you can easily calculate the MINIMUM SEAT HEIGHT your child needs on their new bike.

Our "Ride Happy" Guarantee: We want you to love your purchase, but if you are not completely satisfied, we offer hassle-free returns on all orders.

You have 30 days from receiving your order to initiate your return with us:

• Returns must be in NEW condition with original packaging and product tags.
• You are responsible for packaging and return shipping. You may purchase a return shipping label from us, which is likely your least expensive option with our discounted rates.
• Please take your new bike for a "test ride" to make sure it's right for your Rider! Our standard for still being in new condition after a "test ride" is similar to a local bike shop that offers test rides outside their shop. We understand some "dust on the tires," but please keep it new (and hold on to packaging) until you are sure you're keeping it!
• Your original shipping cost is non-refundable.

WARRANTY

Ready Set Pedal stands behind all products we sell. Most of our brands (including all bikes) offer a limited warranty. We will work directly with the manufacturer (on your behalf) to evaluate and process your warranty claim. If the issue/defect is deemed eligible to be covered under warranty, we work to get you a replacement, repair or refund as quickly as possible. If you're experiencing an issue/defect with an order, please contact us for support.

Frog offers a standard 2 year warranty on all frames, forks, parts and paintwork (excluding tires & inner tubes). Register here for Frog's FREE extended Warranty Plus, which offers a 10 year warranty on frames, handlebars, stems, seat posts, cranks and forks (excluding suspension forks). You must complete and submit the Warranty Plus application form within 28 days of purchase.

Suspension forks come with a standard warranty of 2 years and are not included in the Warranty Plus offer.
